MACON, Ga. – Georgia College Men's Tennis sophomore Sebastian Nunez (Buford) was the lone Bobcat remaining in winner's bracket action Sunday at the Mercer Gridiron Classic, falling in the semifinals of Singles Flight C2.
Nunez was the No. 2-seed in the flight, earning a bye through the opening round on day one.
In the quarterfinal Saturday, the sophomore went over Erick Cruz of Point University in tight, but straight sets 6-4, 7-6[6].
In Sunday's semifinal action, Nunez's run halted with a 6-3, 6-1 loss to Jonathan Judy-Hansen of Auburn University Montgomery.
