GC Women's Hoops Recognizes Seven Seniors Before Loss to Columbus State, 60-40

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga- The Georgia College Women's Basketball team (1-13, 1-12 PBC) lost a home battle on Senior Day to Columbus State University (3-5, 3-5 PBC). 

Columbus State hit the ground running hard in the first quarter out scoring the Bobcats 15-2. The Cougars never let off the gas putting up more points than GC in all but one quarter. 

All seven seniors got to see the court today and produced GC's leading scorer on the day in Keyonna Wesley (Pearson). Wesley put up 16 points going 3-for-9 from long range and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Fellow senior Christen Copeland (Gainesville) also found the scoring column, putting up three points.

Another senior who made her presence known on the court was Kenyatta Storms (Alpheretta). Storms retrieved seven rebounds, four of them coming from under the enemy basket, and a pair of steals. 

Junior Harper Vick (Marietta) added nine points, while sophomore Jaycie Bowen (Homer) added eight and five rebounds. 

This was the final game of the Georgia College Women's Basketball season.
