MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- Georgia College & State University Women's Soccer (4-4-1, 3-1 PBC) took a tough 3-0 loss to Flagler College (5-1-2, 3-0-1 PBC), Saturday at Bobcat Field.
The Bobcat offense had a total of six shots with three on goal through 90 minutes of play. Alexis Bergamini (West Suffield, Connecticut) and Ava Martin (Gainesville) led the shooting efforts with both of them having two shots and one on goal.
The Flagler offense got off 20 shots with 13 on goal through two halves of play. Goalkeeper Kate Richardson (Marietta) limited the damage by nabbing 10 saves. On her first save of the afternoon, Richardson claimed the fourth slot in school history for career saves, passing Michell Parr. Richardson now has a career total of 219 saves which is five away from tying the third overall spot in school history.
The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday, Sept. 28 on the road at Clayton State University (0-5-1, 0-2-1 PBC) at 7 p.m.
