Nya Warren has been named the Zaxbys Player of the Week ending Oct. 5.
Warren, a sophomore middle blocker from Gray, Georgia, had 13 kills, eight total blocks (two solo, six assists) and four digs as the Bobcats split a pair of Peach Belt Conference matches last week. Warren hit .393 for the week with only two errors in 28 swings.
The Bobcats return to action Tuesday (Oct. 6) when they hosts Fort Valley State University in a 6 p.m. non-conference match inside the Centennial Center.
