AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University has earned the No. 7 seed in the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament that will be held in Columbus, Georgia, this weekend.
The Bobcats (4-12 overall, 0-6 Peach Belt) will face No. 2 seed Flagler College (16-3, 5-1) in a first round round match Friday (April 24) at the John W. Walden Tennis Center. The Saints defeated GCSU 7-0 in Milledgeville earlier this month.
The winner of the GCSU-Flagler match will face the winner of Friday's (April 24) 6 p.m. first round match between No. 3 seed University of North Georgia (12-7, 4-2) and No. 6 seed Augusta University (8-11, 1-5) in a 1 p.m. semifinal match Saturday (April 25).
On the other side of the bracket, No. 4 seed Lander University (11-5, 3-3) will face No. 5 seed Middle Georgia State University (5-10, 2-4) in a 3 p.m. first round match Friday (April 24). The winner of that match will face No. 1 Columbus State University (17-2, 6-0) at 1 p.m. Saturday (April 25) in the semifinals.
The championship match of the single-elimination tournament will be at 1 p.m. Sunday (April 26). The winner of the match will earned the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Tournament.
