MACON, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University men's cross country team occupied eight of the top 10 spots as the Bobcats captured the Peach Belt Conference Preview Friday (Sept. 25) evening.

The Bobcats finished with a team score of 24 to win their 17th team title in program history and their first since they won the 2025 UNG Cross Country Invitational. GCSU finished ahead of the University of South Carolina-Aiken (38) and Georgia Southwestern State University (80).

Daniel Laird was the top GCSU runner at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course's 8K race with a time 27.39.9, good for second place. Antonio Correa finished in fourth place with a time of 28.21.6 as GCSU runners filled the next eight positions. Nour Nazim was fifth with a time of 28.25.8 and was followed by Daniel Bell (28.26.2), Evan Armstrong (28.26.8), Gavin Howland (28.58.3), Jaycob Wagner (28.59.5), Peyton Harley (29.16.2), Levi Dailey (29.19.9), and Michael Perry (29.20.2).

Jack Aurelia (15th, 30.30.6), Jackson Underwood (16th, 30.32.0) and Reed Glaser (17th, 31.16.3) also recorded top-20 finishes for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats return to action next Friday (Oct. 2) when they take part in the Georgia Tech Cross Country Invitational at 8:30 a.m. in Douglasville, Georgia.
