FLORENCE, S.C. – The series-deciding
matchup between Georgia College baseball (15-10, 7-4 PBC) and
Francis Marion University (18-10, 8-6 PBC) has been cancelled due
to inclement weather.
The two squads started the game on time at 1 p.m., and were in
the bottom of the fourth when lightning struck. When the ensuing
thunderstorm came through, the umpires cancelled the game. The
contest will not be made-up.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m.
eastern, traveling to the University of Montevallo.
