Kyle King Named PBC Pitcher of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga.-Senior pitcher Kyle King (Johns Creek) of the Georgia College Baseball team (8-1) has been named the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Pitcher of the Week for his masterful game against Francis Marion University.

King pitched seven innings Friday, allowing only three hits and no runs with one walk and 12 strikeouts as the Bobcats won 6-1. He threw 95 pitches, 62 of those for strikes. King has dominated 14 innings this season, allowing only one run to slip through.

Two of the three PBC Pitchers of the Week this season have gone to Georgia College Baseball. Sophomore righty Brennan Crooms (Metter), was chosen only a few weeks ago for his outstanding performance during the week ending Feb. 2.

The Bobcats welcome Claflin University this weekend, Friday, Feb. 21 for Homecoming.
