Bobcat Soccer Tabbed #6 Seed in PBC Tournament

AUGUSTA, Ga.- Georgia College & State University Soccer (5-7-3, 4-4-2 PBC) has been named the No. 6 overall seed in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament. 

The Bobcats finished conference play with a 4-4-2 conference record and closed the regular season in a 1-1 tie with Lander University.

The conference tournament has a new format this season with the two highest seeds hosting the quarterfinals. The Bobcats will travel to No. 2 seeded Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Fla.  The first game of the tournament at the host spot will be Flagler and Young Harris College at 2:00 p.m. 

The Bobcats are scheduled to take on the No. 3 seeded University of North Georgia (9-3-3, 6-2-2 PBC) on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 4:30 p.m. With a win Thursday afternoon the Bobcats would continue their postseason run on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1:00 p.m. against the winner of the Flagler and Young Harris game for the semifinal game.
