MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University women's basketball's Elizabeth Wynn has been named the Zaxbys Player of the Week ending Nov. 30.

Wynn, a freshman forward/center from Watkinsville, Georgia, recorded a double double with 25 points and 18 rebounds (both career highs) as GCSU recorded its first win of the season -  a 67-63 come-from-behind win over Mars Hill University. Wynn had eight points during the 16-2 run that GCSU ended the game on. She tied the game at 63 with a putback and gave the Bobcats the lead for good at 65-63 on a short jumper in the paint with 17 seconds to go. She was 10-of-21 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Including in the 18 rebounds were nine on the offensive glass.

GCSU opens up Peach Belt Conference action Wednesday (Dec. 3) as the Bobcats welcome Clayton State University to the Centennial Center for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
