MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University's Zyair Greene has been named the Zaxbys Player of the Week ending Feb. 23.

Greene, a junior 6-foot-3 guard from Lithonia, Georgia, averaged 27.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for the Bobcats in two games last week.

Greene recorded a double double in GCSU's 80-73 overtime win at Clayton State University as he scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.  He also scored 28 points in a 90-87 overtime loss at home to Georgia Southwestern State University. Greene shot 50 percent (10-of-20) from three-point range and was 18-of-22 (81.8 percent) from the free throw line last week.

GCSU returns to action Tuesday (Feb. 25) when the Bobcats entertain Augusta University in a 7:30 p.m. Peach Belt Conference contest inside the Centennial Center. The Bobcats will honor senior Dallas Clayton prior to the contest.
