Camryn Carlton named PBC Player of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University volleyball player Camryn Carlton has been named the Player of the Week by the Peach Belt Conference.

The senior right side from Buford, Georgia, tallied 52 kills, 13 digs and 11 total blocks as the Bobcats opened their season with a 3-1 record at the Bobcat Classic. Carlton, who also honored as the Zaxbys Player of the Week, registered 17 kills against Rollins College and had 13 kills and six blocks against Albany State University.

The Bobcats will return to action Friday (Sept. 12) in Valdosta, Georgia, where they will compete in the Valdosta State tournament. The Bobcats face Palm Beach Atlantic University (11:30 a.m.) and Anderson (S.C.) University (7 p.m.) on the opening day of the tournament.
