EATONTON, Ga. | Play has been suspended during the first round of the Bobcat Invitational Monday (March 16) afternoon.
The men's golf tournament hosted by Georgia College & State University was delayed at the start by the severe weather that passed through the area in the morning. The 14-team team field teed off at 11 a.m., but the Golf Club at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee became unplayable due to the persistant rain forcing the suspension.
The tournament, which has been shortened from 54 holes to 36 holes, will resume Tuesday (March 17) at 11 a.m. where teams will complete their first rounds and then immediately go into their final rounds.
