AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University baseball player Bradley Wilson has been named the Pitcher of the Week by the Peach Belt Conference.

It is the second time that the senior right-handed pitcher from Irwinton, Georgia,  has been named the league's Pitcher of the Week this year.

Wilson pitched eight shutout innings in an 8-0 win over Flagler College Saturday (March 22), scattering eight hits with two walks while striking out two. Wilson, who retired the first batters he faced in order and retired the side in order in the sixth inning, improved to 5-1 this season.  Wilson is third in the PBC in innings pitched (48.1), tied for third in wins (5) , fourth in earned-run average (2.79) and seventh in opponent batting average (.243).

The Bobcats return to action Tuesday (March 25) when they travel to Valdosta, Georgia, for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest against Valdosta State University.
