Athletics Director and Golf Coach (1981-1990). Coach Peeler wasone of the leaders in founding the Peach Belt Conference and ledGC’s transition from the NAIA to NCAA Division II. He wasprimarily responsible for the tremendous upgrade in GC athleticsfacilities. The West Campus Athletics Complex was named in hishonor.
