Georgia College

Boasting nine All-Americans, Georgia College Gymnastics, under guidance of GC Athletics Hall of Famer Geza Martiny won the NAIA National Women’s Gymnastics Team Event, the first National Championship in school history. The squad was NAIA District 25 Champions, adding AIAW Small College National and Regional titles as well. The Colonials finished the season 10-3.

Georgia College would like to honor the entire roster from that amazing season: Janelle Tucker, Kevone Stouder McKinney, Margarita Portilla, Lauren Brayman Slatko, Maureen Fowler Willenborg, Karen Martin Thompson, Kerri Culbertson and Connie Brock. Tucker becomes the first two-time honoree to the Georgia College Athletics Hall of Fame, as she is member of the 2017 class as an individual as well.
