Baseball Coach (1976-1993). Coach Kurtz posted 577 career winsin 18 seasons with a .610 winning percentage. He tallied 14 winningseasons including five 40+ win seasons and two 50+ win seasons.Kurtz’s teams also won seven conference championships andfour district titles, while making two World Series appearances. Herecruited and coached 45  All-District players and 14All-Americans. The baseball field is named after him. He alsocoached the men’s soccer team.
